I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.  I took two motorcycles to the car show in Monument, and watched the parade.  A shower dampened the afternoon bands-in-the-park, but it was good to see some moisture.

The Lake City Ride is gathering at the Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson parking lot on Saturday morning, July 11.  Pikes Peak HD is at 5867 North Nevada in Colorado Springs.  Gary Hopkins is leading and he says that they are leaving at 9:30 am.  Kickstands up at 9:30!  The group will head up to Woodland Park and then across Wilkerson Pass and then on to Cottonwood Pass into Gunnison.  Then on to Lake City.

There are some riders joining the group for a day ride, and not going all the way to Lake City for the overnight stay.  You are welcome to do that.  If you want to join the group somewhere other than Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson, let Gary know.  For example, Bruce will join the group in Woodland Park.  Gary’s email is ghop@myctl.net.

Saturday July 11th would be our usual meeting time, but remember we are not having a meeting this month.

The BMAC memorial ride and picnic/BBQ will be on Sunday, July 19th.  Festivities will begin at 12:30 after the morning ride.
