Well the New Year is moving right along, ready or not. Hopefully everyone had a good holiday season! We will meet at Black Forest Brewing Company at 11:00 this Saturday. The address is 11590 Black Forest Road, Colorado Springs, 80908. I don’t know the status of a food truck, I will try to find out and let you know.
This is the time of year to make progress on motorcycle projects, and I have at least three going right now. But the nice weather meant I could get my BMW F700 out, finding it needed a new battery and an oil change first. All done now, and it is running great. Also had the yellow Commando out for a spin. And I had the BSA Gold Star up and running and off for a ride a couple months ago, then put it up for the winter.
I am thinking of doing a presentation at the meeting on supercharging and turbocharging. I have several units of both, so it will make a good show and tell. We certainly can use some show and tell presentations, so think about what you are working on and come tell us about it. Also we will be looking for some pictures and talks on your motorcycle travels!
The big Mecum motorcycle auction is coming up at the end of January, and I know a few people who are going. I have to stay away from there for obvious reasons after you have seen my shop. Review the 2000 or so motorcycles on their website and start your wish list.
The weather on Saturday is so-so, better for coming to the meeting and talking about motorcycles than riding them, I think. So come to the meeting!!
