The third Saturday of the month is coming up, so it’s time for our meeting. Remember that we start at 10:00 am now! And we are meeting at the Tri-Lakes Chamber Meeting House at 300 West Hiway 105, next to the Jarrito Loco Mexican Restaurant.
At the last meeting we were joined by a new member, Michael Maldanado, who lives in Colorado Springs. Welcome Michael! And by all reports, Jonathan Chaikin’s talk on his Iceland trip was a great success, and I certainly thank him for pitching in while I was gone hunting.
At the meeting, I will be talking about Harley-Davidson. What a shameful thing to do at a British motorcycle club. But I will be talking about how HD tried to attack the British motorcycle invasion in the 50’s and 60’s with their updated “K” models, predecessor to the Sportster. I will be bringing a 1956 KHK Harley to show, so be there or be square!
