The weather was fabulous on Saturday, so we had a great turnout of members and bikes at the Black Forest Brewery. We had 20 members present, and it was hard to come inside for a meeting with the weather so nice and so many bikes to look at. The demonstration that we are an “all-welcome” motorcycle club was in the bikes that members rode to the meeting: Aermacchi, Moto Morini, Moto Guzzi, BMW, and Honda.
Fortunately T.A. and Rob rode Triumphs, so the “British” part of the club was still there. And Frank showed off his recently acquired (from the UK) Vincent, so British pride was still present. Getting the Egli-Vincent Comet to run has been a carb tuning nightmare, so a talk on air-fuel ratio was well received.
Tom, our Treasurer, brought the club merchandise so members could purchase BMAC items. We welcomed new member Tom Clement, and he told us about vintage trials opportunities. He has a Triumph Cub.
Our next meeting will be on Saturday, April 11th, and Randy Meyer will be giving a talk on some interesting motorcycle adventures, especially with small displacement bikes. Plan on being there!
